Bogara LLC was founded on the 21st of January in 1994, with only seven craftsmen working in the only shop to produce birch-bark articles that made up only 5 items at that time, and it took the company less than a year to increase its range of goods up to 90 articles and its number of craftsmen up to 60 people.
Though the style of “stamping” is the main work-line of Bogara LLC, many historically formed methods of processing birch-bark, such as carving, appliqué’s work and semi cutting are used in the course of manufacturing. Recently the “braiding” line has leapt forward. Today the range of goods exceeds 600 items, and more than 120 people work in the company workshops.
Special emphasis is placed on designing new models and increasing new marketing outlets, which helps the company to open up and master totally new lines of production - thus, for example, in 2000, a new workshop to produce ceramics was started, with the present range of goods totaling to 200 items.
Ten years ago Bogara LLC was starting its activity from nearly nothing, in rented premises with the total area of 30 m2, while nowadays it has its own production area of 2 hectares. Today, graphic-artists and designers work in the company along with craftsmen, which provides making articles by individually designed drafts.
Bogara LLC gratefully cooperates with reliable partners, especially for the purpose of new developments; at present time it has more than 200 regular customers and partners that work worldwide: in Russia, USA, Norway, Czechias, and many other countries. Goods can be supplied to almost anywhere in the world by any kind of transport.
Day after day, “Bogara” LLC is working to enlarge its range of goods, to improve the quality of the goods offered and to find the most favorable terms and conditions for the clients.
